Kevin De Bruyne), born on June 28, 1991 in Delongen, Belgium, is a Belgian football player who plays as a midfielder. Currently playing for Manchester City Football Club.
De Bruyne made his debut at Genk Football Club. In the summer of 2012, De Bruyne joined the Premier League Chelsea Football Club and was later loaned to the Bundesliga Werder Bremen Football Club. In January 2014, De Bruyne joined the Bundesliga Wolfsburg Football Club.
In July 2015, De Bruyne was elected the 2015 German Footballer of the Year. In August of the same year, De Bruyne became a first-line player of the Manchester City club with a transfer fee of approximately 54 million pounds and 74 million euros. Since then, he has won the Premier League championship with the team four times, and won the Premier League PFA Player of the Season for two consecutive years.
On October 9, 2017, he was selected as a shortlist for the 2017 Golden Globe Awards. On July 24, 2018, De Bruyne was selected as the 2018 FIFA World Player of the Year candidate list.
As for the national team, De Bruyne made his debut for the Belgian national team in August 2010. Since then, he has participated in two World Cups (2014, 2018) and two European Cups (2016, 2020) with the team.
