February 1 today, the Eredivisie club Vitesse officially announced that the 30-year-old Van Ginkel joined the team from PSV Eindhoven
Joining the team, the two parties signed a contract until 2024.
Schmeders, technical director of Vitesse, said: “We are very pleased with Van Ginkel’s return to Vitesse in several respects. Firstly, with his experience, quality and team spirit, he can be an excellent addition to us.

Van Ginkel was born in the Vitesse youth training. In the nine and a half years since he left Vitesse, Van Ginkel played for Chelsea, AC Milan, Stoke City and Eindhoven.
