January 23, many British media, including the Daily Mail
, Football.London, The Athletic UK, The Daily Telegraph, The Times, etc., all asked questions about Tottenham Sports Director Paratici.
Inquiry questions put to Spurs included –
Regarding the due diligence they did when they hired Paratici, whether there was any assumption that Paratici would be exonerated, whether they would open an internal investigation into whether similar behavior took place at Tottenham, and whether Paratici is now
Suspended or fired, etc.
Tottenham declined to comment on any issues.
The Athletic UK has meanwhile contacted FIFA for comment on the Italian FA’s request for a ban outside Italy.
At present, there is no indication that Paratici has committed any wrongdoing during his time at Tottenham.
Paratici, like Agnelli, has not commented on the investigation or the ruling.
If Paratici is really banned globally, then for Tottenham, it may return to the Levy-led transfer model, and it may also have an impact on Conte’s future.
