January 12 According to a report by reporter Jason Burt of The Daily Telegraph,
Championship club Watford are interested in signing Manchester United winger Pelisteri on loan.
In the previous quarter-finals of the English League Cup, Palistri, who joined Manchester United for two and a half seasons, finally ushered in his Red Devils first-team debut. He came off the bench and sent an assist.
Palistri joined Manchester United from the Uruguayan club Penarol for £9 million in October 2020, but has never had a chance to play in the first team before.
And Watford’s interest in Palisteri began long before he made his debut against Charlton, and Palisteri also participated in the World Cup game late last year.
And Watford coach Bilic hopes to introduce him to strengthen the team lineup and strive to complete the promotion this season.
It is understood that Palistri’s agent has flown to England to try to resolve the player’s future before the January transfer window closes, and hopes that Palistri can complete the transfer.
There is currently no indication that Manchester United want to sell Palistri, who currently has three years left on his contract with Manchester United, with an option for a further year.
Last summer, Palistri was not rented out by Manchester United due to injuries.
