January 16 News According to the latest report by The Athletic UK ace reporter David Ornstein
, Leandro Trossard’s future at Brighton appears to be drawing closer to a close following last week’s public spat with manager De Zerby.
Tottenham made a verbal bid of around £12m for Trossard, but it was rejected by Brighton, who value him at a much higher price.
This informal interest has not been followed up since.
De Zerby said after Brighton’s 3-0 win over Liverpool that the door remains open for Trossard if he accepts his way of working.
“I’m happy with myself and I’m ready to open the door for him because he’s a good guy and a very important player for us,” he said.
