January 9th, according to The Athletic report, in order to strengthen the team’s striker line, West Ham United intends to
Seville striker Ennesri on loan.
West Ham beat Brentford in the FA Cup before they face Wolves in the Premier League.
West Ham United is currently ranked fourth from the bottom in the Premier League with only a goal difference advantage, while Wolves currently ranks from the bottom.
The team’s problem lies in the offense. Only three teams in the Premier League have scored fewer goals than them (15 goals). The club also hopes to strengthen the team’s striker in the winter window.
Last year, West Ham United intended to introduce Sevilla striker Ennesri. They provided the Morocco international with an offer of 30 million euros, but Sevilla rejected it.
A year later, they made a new offer for Ennesri.
Ennesri started seven of Morocco’s World Cup games and scored twice, helping Morocco reach the World Cup semi-finals.
This time, West Ham United’s original idea was to rent Ennesri, but this may not satisfy Sevilla.
If there is a buyout in the loan terms, it may be more attractive.
Similar to West Ham United, Sevilla is currently ranked fourth from the bottom, with a goal difference ahead of Cadiz, which is the third from the bottom.
Ennesri scored a hat-trick in Wednesday’s Copa del Rey game to help his team advance to the next round, and West Ham United are also starting to doubt whether Sevilla will let Ennesri leave the team.
But they remain interested in the player, Ennesri’s contract expires in 2025, and they are also considering options for the winter window while Moyes works hard to help the team avoid relegation.
