January 17 According to a report by the French media “Parisian”, Paris St.
Germain are continuing to restructure their youth academy with the appointment of Luca Cattani as the club’s youth director.
And Luca Catani is a close ally of chief scout Antero Enrique, who has been a recruiter for the club.
Last summer, Cattani returned as the sporting director of the Paris youth academy.
According to reports, his role has now been elevated, with Yohan Cabaye set to become his assistant.
Luca Cattani was named the new director in front of the PSG youth academy staff on Monday afternoon, succeeding Jean-François Pien, who left the club last November.
Former Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle player Johan Cabaye, former sports coordinator, has been promoted and will become Cattani’s assistant, responsible for assisting him in managing the club’s youth academy.
Le Parisien also reports on another incoming youth trainee, Cyrille Carrière, who has good reviews for helping the likes of Flavien Tate, Roman Favere and Jonathan Gradit emerge.
