Benzema found his calf muscle injury during training before the start of the World Cup, when Benzema sent the injury report to Real Madrid, and the player thought he needed to rest for up to 10 days, if all went well. Can be in time for the 1×10 finals.
But to Benzema’s surprise, the day before the start of the World Cup, Deschamps found him with French team doctor Frank Le Gal, who told Benzema coldly, “I’m sorry, Karim, you need to leave,” while Deschamps didn’t say a word.
Roncero said: “Deschamps’s goal is obviously to find an excuse to clean up Benzema so that he can use his preferred Giroux.” In this regard, Benzema did not argue or asked to stay, but just packed his bags and left immediately.
