January 17 News Brighton coach De Zelby today
Accepted an exclusive interview with the Italian “Repubblica”, he talked about his experience after landing in the Premier League, and the problems with Belgian winger Trossard.
Talking about the experience of coaching Brighton:
“I just want to say thank you to Porter. He has brought out a well-drilled and brave team. The club management is very serious. We will focus on young players and hope to continue to develop. I can coach such a team.
The team is lucky.”
“I think perfection doesn’t exist, but we have to strive for perfection, we don’t want to talk about goals in the table, it’s wrong, we just want to give our all and win every game. Why Brighton? I
I like this team, I need a platform where I can make a big difference and Brighton is that.”
On what it’s like to work in the Premier League:
“I like the Premier League a lot. It’s less pressure, more fun, courage and passion. That’s my philosophy. I want to win, but I don’t think results are everything. For me it’s not all about football.
Speaking of the Trossard incident:
“If a player doesn’t give it his all in training and in games…it’s a serious thing in football, it means everything, a player has to give it his all.”
“Maybe Trossard’s agent is trying to get him to move to another team for a lower price in this way, but everyone in the dressing room knows what happened, so I don’t need to apologize.
Rossard decides to come back and give 100% for the team, then I will play him, it is up to him.”
